Volunteers play a vital role in the success and spirit of the Walk for Life by lending their time and positive energy. Last year, over 100 volunteers helped to make the 2007 Calgary AIDS Walk for Life a great success.

Walk for Life is a fun, easy and short-term way for people to get involved and make a difference. It’s also a great way for corporate groups to volunteer together and build team spirit.

Event-day volunteers help with roles such as walker registration, food and beverage assistance, decorating the walk route, acting as route marshals, and clean up. Volunteers are also needed to help with planning activities prior to the event.
